S.O.S. ~ Committee: S.O.S. “Support Our Students”. A grassroots fundraising campaign (started 2009-2010 school year) made up of eager parents, teachers, administrators, and those who care about a child’s education. The purpose is to raise the much needed funding to maintain the programs and integrity of the Vacaville Unified School District. Our schools are in a crisis and the district has a chance to do something no other district in the state has done and that is to be SELF-RELIANT. We need your help! The state budget debacle and deficit have had such an adverse affect on the Vacaville School District’s budget, we can no longer sit back and do nothing. This fundraising campaign is an attempt to close a multimillion dollar shortfall in our district’s state funding. We encourage all of you to contribute what you can and rally your network of family, friends, and employers to do the same. Vacaville is the BEST Community for Young People. Please Give and Support Our Students.
